Residential Djurgarden, Stockholm, Sweden

At Home in Djurgarden. Although easily reachable from Stockholm by foot, car and tram, we headed to Djurgarden by ferry from Gamla Stan one Saturday for a hearty walk through its beautiful Royal Djurgarden park. In addition to mansions of the royal kind, the island has some charming residential areas sprinkled throughout.
